By pre-treating the holographic emulsion before each individual exposure, you can achieve a wide-range of multiple colors in your final hologram. This workshop will explore the technique called pseudo-color reflection holography. I created my first hologram using this method back in 1985, when it was very popular on the west coast of the USA (compared to white light transmission holography here on the east coast). I consider the 4-color crystal egg hologram above to be my crowning achievement in color range (deep red to deep violet) and registration.
