GENERAL MATERIALS LIST

MATERIALS:
This project is assuming that you already have a holographic set-up to operate from -- and have some experience making split-beam holograms . . . both laser transmission and H1 to H2 copies. Specific details of each entry will be given with each HoloTalk program.

  • 35mm SLR camera
  • T-Max 100 Film (or substitute Kodak Ektachrome or AGFA Scala)
  • T-Max 100 Reversal Kit (not needed if using Ektachrome or AGFA)
  • Holo Table (4 x 8-feet recommended).
  • Laser (at least 5-10mw for smaller holograms)
  • 3 front-surface mirrors (small)
  • 1 front-surface mirror (4 x 6)
  • 1 beamsplitter (60:40 good bet)
  • two expanding lenses (or spatial filters)
  • three plateholders
  • 1 camera lens
  • 1 piece of ground glass (approx. 8 x 10)
  • hand-made slits
  • hand-made film card
  • holo film or plates (highly recommend plates)
  • processing chemistry (will cover in modules)
  • safe light for red sensitive materials
