My personal collection of the New York Museum of Holography's publication HOLOSPHERE.
HoloSphere was originally published by Sphere, Inc., the origination of the "sphere" in the holosphere title. International Laser Systems, Inc. of Orlando, Florida, took control of the publication in 1974. The MOH took over publication (with Ed Bush as editor) of the then-newsletter in November of 1977. Bill Bushor (originally from Sphere) stayed on as consulting editor. Bushor also published "LaserSphere" as well. He also founded Laser Focus magazine (as a newsletter) in the 1960's.
The first MOH issue (shown below as #1) listed Edward Bush as Editor, William Bushor as consulting editor; and Dr. Tung Jeong and Emmett Leith as editorial advisors.
All of my early issues of HoloSphere are sealed in air-tight, archival plastic sleeves. I did not remove them for photography, so you may see flash reflections on the plastic surface. I do not have any information on the year 1979, of which I do not have issues. The publication went from monthly, to quarterly, to irregular toward the end of its life.
